Vertical Vegetable Garden

A little while ago, our bed broke. Nothing suss, I was standing on it to get something from the top of the wardrobe and is just broke. So other than buying a new bed, I had to get rid of the old one. Not being one to waste things, I decide to take this broken queen bed, and make it a garden bed. It ended up being easier than expected, and within a couple of hours and a quick run to ikea, we had a herb garden, with plenty of sun, without taking up any of the precious little room we have in our courtyard. We now have herbs that we would normally pay significant money for, on tap, year round, and they are super fresh. It’s also lovely sitting down in the afternoon with a whole lot more greenery around.
