This shot was part of the fantastic mess that is the Annual Mount Hotham snow trip. My first time participating, but long time listener of stories, this place held true. It was everything you wanted from a snow trip, fat flakes of snow in the evening, followed by an early rise to beautiful weather and powdery white snow that cuddles you when you fall off your snowboard.

These days were followed by the outdoor, toasty warm spa, plenty of ice cold beverages, chilled from the snow surrounding the winter cabin, and plenty of time to play with the camera. It really is amazing what you can do with a couple of friends, a bit of time, a lot of snow and some sparklers.
